Emergency/Critical Care
Our staff is here to help you and your pet through any emergency situation during our normal business hours. Monday - Friday 9am-8pm Saturday 9am-2pm. Although you do not need an appointment for an emergency, we do ask that you call us on your way to alert us of the problem so that we may prepare for your arrival. If you have an emergency situation outside of our regular hours the 24 hour facilities we recommend are Oradell Animal Hospital and Animal Emergency and Referral Center. Should your pet require 24 hour care and monitoring we will stabilize him and refer you to one of these facilities.
While your pet is with us we will provide emergency care and diagnostic tests as needed such as:
- IV catheterization
- Fluid therapy
- Blood chemistries
- Radiology/Diagnostic imaging
- Administer medications
- Pain management
- Oxygen therapy
- Nutritional support
