In-House Lab
Maywood Vet uses the newest technology in in-house testing analyzers and equipment.
Should your pet be admitted for a surgical procedure or a health concern, blood chemistries will be run for same day results. We also have blood typing capabilities for our canine and feline blood donors.
Reference Lab
There are certain tests, however, that must be sent to an outside laboratory. In situations where we cannot perform in-house testing, we will send samples to Antech Diagnostics for most blood chemistries and histopathologies.
Wisdom Panel MX
The newest test available to dog owners is the Wisdom Panel MX Mixed Breed Analysis. A simple blood test from your canine companion will be drawn and sent to undergo a complex analysis. The wisdom panel will detect genetic markers to help reveal the breed heritage of your dog.
