Maywood is the best. We’ve been seeing them, and particularly Dr. Buchholz for years and they’re always so friendly and helpful even through the most difficult times. We laid our little Lucy to rest last week and they helped accommodate us day of out of concern for her making it the night. She went very peacefully and we thank them for being there through the good and the bad. We currently have another dog who will definitely continue seeing them. Cant recommend this vet enough. Especially as these corporately ran vets seem to get more colder and transactional.

We inherited a cat from a neighbor who is bedridden and the family wanted to put the cat in the shelter. We couldn’t let that happen. Could not get any information from the original owner as she was confused and not well. I called a few local veterinarians and they would not give me any information to get records. I called Maywood Veterinarian and spoke with Mike, gave him prior owner information on the cat and he was able to locate records. We found out our cat is almost 12! Took him for his first checkup and update vaccines. Extremely nice veterinarian office and staff was great! Thank you for being so compassionate. I highly recommend this vet!

I have been using the clinic for a number of years (and 3 rescue dogs) and have been very satisfied with Dr Buckholtz and his team. We are on our 3rd rescue who has his own gastrointestinal issues and they have been great in dealing with him. The tech staff and administrative staff have always been top notch , eg. supportive and patient. I tend to recommend the clinic when I meet other dog owners.

I was happy with my visit, as a first time client. It was a smooth experience for me and my cat, and I got a clear estimate for follow up care.
