Expensive , but exceptionally good service and good doctors we like this place

My experience has always been great at Maywood Vet. Very courteous, friendly and professional staff who thoroughly explain what owners need to know and do for their pet’s overall health and wellbeing.

I recently adopted a kitten and he was anxious on his first visit to the vet, the team helped me a lot with him.

Thank goodness for Maywood Veterinary Clinic and Dr. Jay Buchholz being ahead of the pack! My Great Dane Nina had her torn ACL taken care with Stem Cell Therapy. At the time we also had a 6 month old puppy dane that we were afraid would have to be restrained from jumping on Nina. But with the SCT Nina's recovery was truly a piece of cake. And now Ily the then puppy, has a crush on all who work there. She will jump on the counter to say hello to all! (Besides she knows where the treats are).

I can't say enough good things about this veterinary team. Everyone on the staff is incredibly kind, both over the phone and in person. They have been a tremendous support during this difficult time with my dog, Yoko. They've been helping by giving her subcutaneous fluids every other day, which has made such a difference. I don't always have someone at home to help me, so their compassion and willingness to step in means more than I can express. I truly trust them with my little girl, and I'm so grateful for the care, kindness, and dedication they've shown us. Thank you for everything you do.

Maywood Vet is the best!!

Dr Buchholz is the absolute best! I’ve been going to him for years. Love that man!
