As new pet parents, we were so excited to start our journey with our Dixie. We brought her into Maywood Vet clinic 3 days after getting her and instantly felt the love from the staff and Vets. We’ve unfortunately gotten some tough news that she’s heartworm positive and has other G.I. issues and again the staff has answered all our questions, dealt with my tears over the phone, and made us feel validated in our concern. Wouldn’t want our little girl to be treated anywhere else.
I cannot thank Maywood Veterinary Clinic enough for the incredible care they provided for my 1-year-old Labrador, Nova. She had to undergo double ACL surgery, which was a daunting and emotional experience for me. From start to finish, the entire team was professional, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable.Dr. Natalia was thorough in explaining the procedure, recovery process, and potential outcomes, which made me feel confident Nova was in the best hands. The staff was patient with my endless questions and always took the time to address any concerns.The surgery itself went smoothly, and I was kept informed every step of the way. Post-op care has been exceptional, with regular check-ins to ensure Nova is healing properly. They even provided detailed instructions for her at-home care and tips to help her adjust during recovery.Nova is now on the road to recovery, and I am so grateful for the expertise and genuine care shown by everyone at Maywood Vet. I highly recommend them to any pet owner looking for a team that truly goes above and beyond for their furry patients!Thank you for giving Nova the chance to run and play again!!

The staff is friendly & efficient and I appreciated getting the results of my dog's blood work and stool sample ASAP. When I was able to drop off a urine specimen, I was happy to get an actual call from the vet to tell me everything was all right and to answer any questions I might have in regards to my dog's health.
Maywood Vet is a professional, caring group of pet doctors. Dr. Buchholtz is so good with animals by setting them at ease before doing his exam. The staff is caring and you can tell they love animals and will do all they can to make a vet visit as easy as possible. My Chihuahua won't get his nails cut just anywhere. He's a good boy when Maywood's techs take care of him. A true testament of how wonderful the staff is at Maywood Vet. Their prices are fair but the service makes up for it. I would recommend them everytime.

Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Dr. Bucholz and his assistant were very knowledgeable and friendly as well. Definitely considering coming here as our primary vet.Update to my previous review from over a year ago…we’ve been going here for a year now permanently and I’m glad we did:I have had nothing but great experiences here. Thank you all for your compassion and love for all animals.Update again: Been coming for a few years now with my 2 cats and my dog. I wish I had found this place sooner.
